Are On-board Wifi really worth the fee ?

Travelling can be a stressful experience, especially when you have a long flight ahead of you. But as technology continues to evolve, we are given more and more options to make our travel experiences more comfortable and enjoyable. One of these options is wifi on planes. In this blog post, I will share my personal experience with using wifi on a plane and how my charging cable saved the day.
As a frequent traveller, I am always on the lookout for ways to make my journeys more productive and enjoyable. When I heard that my airline offered wifi on board, I was excited to give it a try. On my recent BA flight from Glasgow to Cancun, I paid around 17 GBP to browse and stream for each leg of the journey, and if I had flown first class, it would have been free for the whole journey. The internet did work OK, compared to nothing. I was able to check my emails and catch up on work, and depending on the location, it can sometimes be slow. But the feeling of being able to use the internet at 38,000 feet in the air is great. It was a game-changer for my productivity on the flight, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a long journey ahead of them.
However, as with any technology, there were a few hiccups. The first issue I encountered was a low battery on my laptop. I had forgotten to charge it fully before the flight, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use the wifi for the entire journey. That's when my trusty charging cable came in handy.
When I travel, I always bring my Picharge charging cable with me, and it has helped me out many times. It may seem like a small thing, but having a charged device can make all the difference when you're in a situation like this.
