According to speculative reports, it seems like Xioami would be trying their hands on the automobile industry real soon.

Xiaomi until now, is a well known mobile device manufacturer with low cost strategies while still offering good value. In China, they're already known to have a wide range of products other than smartphones and accessories.

The CEO, Lei Jun had twice visited the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk back in 2013 which could have since been the beginning of plans to enter the automobile industry. This shouldn't be a surprise as the electric automobile industry seems to be the next boom and now especially with Xiaomi's known low-cost strategy which could mark the beginning of this industry in countries where electric vehicles are yet to take hold.

Although Xiaomi hasn't responded to this speculations, neither have they put out an official clue, but it seems like it's going to materialise soon.
